LaLa’s World is a short documentary around LaLa B Zannell-Holston, a lead organizer in the Trans community, and the first trans woman of color at the White House briefing for Women’s History Month. LaLa is a Trans Justice Campaign Manager at ACLU and is also a Board Member at the Womanity Project. Her journey is a unique story of challenges, love and support and an inspiration for all of us.
LaLa's World premiered at the Nova Frontier Film Festival in 2018, screened at the Tilde Film Festival in Melbourne and the Cine Diaspora NYC Festival. The film continues to receive praise from film critics and continues to attract the attention of other community LGBTQA advocates.
