Lydia Darly

Lydia Darly, was born and raised in Paris (France), and is originally from Guadeloupe. She studied at the Lee Strasberg, TVI actors studio, and with acting coach and Director Jordan Bayne. Lydia is the writer, producer and lead Actress of the short Film SCRATCH. For her performance she won the Best Actress Award at the 2012 CinemAvennire Film festival  and Best Director Award for THE WAY YOU LOVE in 2014 at the CinemAvennire Film Festival in Rome Italy. She is a frequent guest speaker and programmer at film festivals in support of emerging indie filmmakers and women in film. She received  2014 Queens World Film Festival Community Award  for her work as a moderator  to the festival. 

Lydia is the co-founder of NovaFrontier Film Festival and VP/Producer at The Womanity Project.
